E-4 Blog Post 2: The Best Holiday
One of my best holidays I have was in the year 2019, during my winter break. I went with my family (my mom, dad, and sister) to Peru.
This was a trip which my mom really wanted to go to. She really wanted to see Machu Picchu in person. When we arrived in Peru, we settled in a hostel, which had a rustic style (pretty charming) in the city of Cuzco.
The first thing my family did when we arrived was organize. How would we do the routes? What do we have to see first? We only had 2 weeks and we wanted to enjoy our vacations.
So we explored the city of Cuzco. It had really cool museums and a lot of very beautiful colonial architecture. And of course! Later on we visited in person the very famous Machu Picchu.
And well! I also ate some… odd stuff…
I tried a guinea pig, which consists of the animal cut in two, gutted and that technically looked like a rat made into roasted chicken. It weirdly actually tasted good but my mom saw me with horror.
This is one of my holidays. I found it really memorable and I would definitely go back to Peru.
I've never been to Peru, I've heard it's beautiful. Your trip to Peru sounds amazing! I hope you get to come back soon.

ResponderEliminarSo much history, culture and beautiful landscapes in the same place, I have heard a lot about Machu-Picchu in my life and I have never heard a bad comment... It must be for a reason, right?
ResponderEliminarI went to Machu Picchu with my family in 2014. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen in my life.
