E-4 Blog Post 3: My Dream Job

 Well my ideal job will be an exhibitor artist in a museum, but I will not always exhibit something in a museum. I would work in the Conservation and Documentation Unit.

It is very important that apart from making one's own works, one can protect old works (patrimony) so as not to lose our culture. 

To restore these art pieces so the time cannot take it away so the new generations can contemplate them in the future.

Honestly, I don't imagine it will be easy. I think I should have contacts with some people to get into this kind of work. Unfortunately in the art world it is difficult to be someone without having contacts with people, but I like to see the bright side that I would achieve it.

About what I would need to know. I think that I need some historical knowledge and having a good hand to work with this kind of fragile job (and of course a lot of patience too).

Regarding the salary, I will starve in the first year but it will be worth it (just kidding).

I hope to get a decent salary, to live alone without any problems.

I'm studying visual arts, so it would help me a little to go to this kind of job. There is a complementary subject about “restoration”.

So the next year I could take a branch to have the necessary knowledge.
