E-4 Blog Post 4: Time Travel to the Past or Future
If I can travel to the past or the future, I would like to go to the past, specifically to the 40’s.
I would change nothing in the past, I would only see and collect information from that time in a more vivid way. Then come back to my present because, let's be real, living in the past is really hard (more if I'm a woman).
It was the first animation movie in Chile made in 1942, that Walt Disney himself, despite how precarious the workplace was, was amazed by the greatness of the animation.
He helped to give ideas and tips for the movie.
Sadly when the movie was released it was a total failure, since other contemporary films of the time such as “Snow White” of Disney were superior in the animation section.
Later in time the movie will be burned in an accident, lost forever.
The plot of the film is not even known, but the only thing that was saved was a part of it that lasts 2 minutes, rescued by a relative of the director.
This is really sad for me, because I really love the history of animation history. My own artwork is based on that (have to say, this movie was one of the first animations made in latin america).

I had never heard of that movie before. It sounds very interesting. It's a great reason to travel back in time.
ResponderEliminarIt is truly sad that this treasure has been lost. I also think it would be a good reason to travel to the pass and rescue it.
